We were honoured to design and construct the new Barwon Heads Bowling Club, respecting its 50-year history of lawn bowls while creating a fresh, modern space for future generations to enjoy.

About this Project
From concept to completion we aimed to blend functionality with aesthetics, ensuring the new pavilion would stand as a proud addition to the town. The building is clad in Silvertop Ash kiln-dried timber, chosen for its durability and natural beauty. This is complemented by Matrix cladding in Jasper, a choice that adds a modern touch while subtly nodding to the coastal town’s heritage and character.
Throughout the project, we worked closely with local council members to ensure the design met the needs of the community. We incorporated features that enhance the user experience, such as spacious areas for social gatherings, ample natural light, and modern amenities to support both casual bowlers and serious competitors.
It is incredibly rewarding to see the finished pavilion in use, knowing it will be a place where the community can gather, celebrate, and form lasting friendships. We are proud to have contributed to a project that honours the history of the Barwon Heads Bowling Club while providing a fresh, modern space for future generations to enjoy.
